Trading Rules

The standards that apply to Ultima Market Funded challenge and instant funding accounts.

Read your plan terms

The limits saved on your purchased plan and order are authoritative if they differ from a general example on this page. A hard breach may close the account immediately. Payout conditions may delay eligibility without closing an otherwise compliant account.

Account Types

Ultima Market Funded offers Challenge Accounts and Instant Funding Accounts. Both follow the general conduct and risk rules below, while their objectives and drawdown limits differ.

Challenge Accounts

A challenge measures whether a trader can reach the stated objective while protecting capital. The plan selected at checkout states whether the evaluation has one or two phases and provides the applicable targets and loss limits.

Evaluation objectives

  • Reach the profit target using closed balance; open positions do not complete a phase.
  • Remain within the daily and maximum loss limits at all times.
  • Close all positions before an evaluation phase can be approved.
  • Complete any minimum trading-day requirement shown for the plan.
  • Continue following the funded-phase risk rules after passing.

How drawdown is measured

Daily loss is monitored using balance and equity, including floating profit and loss. Maximum loss may be fixed or trailing as stated in the selected plan. Touching or crossing a hard-loss threshold is a breach.

Daily loss example

For a $100,000 plan with a 5% daily limit, the daily allowance is $5,000.

If the day starts at $103,000, balance and equity must remain above the threshold calculated from that day's applicable reference value.

Challenge-phase flexibility

News trading is permitted during an evaluation unless the purchased plan states otherwise. The funded phase is subject to the news-profit and sustainable-risk requirements below.

Instant Funding Accounts

Instant Funding removes the evaluation phase. Trading access begins after purchase, verification and account issuance, but all risk and payout requirements apply from the first trade.

  • Daily loss and maximum loss are the percentages saved on your plan.
  • Both balance and equity are monitored in real time, including floating losses.
  • Maximum combined open risk must remain within the plan and risk-team limits.
  • A minimum of five profitable days may be required within a 30-day period; each qualifying day must earn at least 0.25% of initial balance.
  • The largest profit day must be no more than 15% of total profit when a payout is requested.
  • A 3% safety cushion above initial balance must remain in the account unless the payout closes the account.
  • At least 1% withdrawable profit above the safety cushion is required for a payout.

Instant payout threshold

Initial balance: $100,000

Safety cushion: $3,000

Minimum withdrawable profit: $1,000

Payout eligibility begins at $104,000, subject to every other rule.

Safety cushion

Withdrawing the required cushion may terminate the account. Review the amount carefully before submitting a payout request.

General Trading Guidelines

Inactivity

Place at least one trade during each 30-day activity window. An account with no trading activity for 30 days may be closed for inactivity.

Copy trading and account ownership

  • Copying between accounts that you personally own, when approved by support.
  • Using a stable VPS or VPN while remaining available for identity checks.
  • Copying another trader or sharing signals to coordinate entries.
  • Account sharing, account-management services or challenge-passing services.
  • Mirrored or opposing trades across accounts owned by different people.
  • Buying multiple evaluations and using all-or-nothing risk until one passes.

Automation

Risk-management utilities such as position-size tools may be used. A personally developed EA may be reviewed, but the trader must understand and remain responsible for its full behavior.

  • Off-the-shelf trade-entry bots or copied EAs.
  • Grid or hedge automation.
  • Latency, execution-delay or price-feed arbitrage.
  • High-frequency patterns or repeated trades lasting 15 seconds or less.
  • Any automation designed to exploit simulated execution.

News, overnight and weekend positions

Challenge phases may trade news. On funded accounts, trades opened, held or closed from five minutes before until five minutes after high-impact news are treated as news trades; no more than 30% of payout profit may come from them. Overnight and weekend holding is allowed, but the trader accepts gap, spread and swap risk.

Realistic execution

Strategies must be reproducible in live markets. The volume-weighted average holding time should remain at least two minutes. Repeated ultra-short trades, grid position stacking and sudden lot-size spikes may trigger review or termination.

Risk Management

Ultima Market Funded reviews how profits are produced, not only the final result. Sustainable sizing and repeatable execution are required.

Monitored behaviorLimit or expectation
Margin concentrationNo more than 30% on one trade idea
Risk per trade ideaNo more than 2% of initial account balance
Revenge tradingDo not reopen within 5 minutes after a loss of 0.5% or more
Repeated overexposureDo not repeatedly trade within 0.5% of the daily-loss limit

A trade idea includes positions on the same symbol and in the same direction that overlap or are reopened within two minutes. Splitting one idea into multiple tickets does not split its risk.

Additional prohibited conduct

  • One-sided all-in trading intended only to hit a target.
  • Martingale-style escalation or excessive position stacking.
  • Trading without a defensible risk plan.
  • Exploiting platform errors, delayed prices or abnormal fills.
  • Manipulation, coordinated trading or fraudulent activity.

Enforcement

Reviews may result in a warning, protective limits, payout adjustment or delay, or account closure. Fraud, account sharing, platform exploitation and hard drawdown breaches can result in immediate termination and forfeiture of affected profits.

Payout Rules

  • All positions and pending orders must be closed before requesting a payout.
  • The account must satisfy its trading-day, consistency, cushion and minimum-profit requirements.
  • Your largest losing trade must not exceed your largest winning trade; if it does, continue trading until compliant.
  • Trading activity is manually reviewed before approval.
  • Approved payouts use a method available in the Ultima Market Funded dashboard.
  • The profit split is the percentage saved on the purchased plan.

Consistency calculation

Consistency score = largest profit day ÷ total profit × 100.

For Instant Funding, a $900 best day on $6,000 total profit equals 15% and meets the stated threshold.

Important

A submitted request can be delayed while trading, identity or payment information is reviewed. Status updates appear in your dashboard.

Profile, Security and KYC

  • Each trader may maintain only one personal profile.
  • Registration, payment and payout details must belong to the account holder.
  • Identity verification is required before an eligible payout can be approved.
  • The minimum participation age is 18.
  • Travel and network changes are permitted, but unusual access may require verification.
  • False documents or identity mismatches result in rejection or account closure.

Contact Ultima Market Funded support before using third-party software or an unusual trading setup if you are uncertain whether it complies with these rules.
